WORK HARD, PLAY HARD

We had transfers last week. Elder Ahlstrom and I stayed here in Merritt Island but Elder Fusselman was replaced by Elder Perry. Elder Perry has been really fun and has this hilarious chaotic energy. He drinks mountain dew for breakfast, has mannerisms of the grinch, speaks Portuguese, and is in his last transfer.

Elder Ahlstrom is in training so I exclusively refer to him as "the kid" and the funny thing is literally everybody understands I'm referring to him because of his greenie personality.
Our trio is really having a good time. We laugh really hard every day. Our motto we came up with is "WORK HARD, PLAY HARD."

We saw some cool birds one day so I got close to them to take some pics. Then some Florida man came by and said, "Be careful, those lil buggers poked my sister's eye out." Apparently the birds are notorious for poking people's eyes, but I got some cool pics.

We've had some awesome service opportunities with a lady in our ward named Pat White. She used to be a model and dated both Muhamad Ali and Bill Cosby back in the day. She is HILARIOUS but hearing her story was kind of sad because she's been lonely for a while. Kind of reminds me of the song Cleopatra for the Lumineers fans out there.

Merritt Island is absolutely beautiful! I'm so lucky to be here in the dopest area in the FOM.

In terms of work, we've been a little discouraged with how the people we are teaching are doing, but we've been getting really good at creating relationships with members here.

I feel like there's so much more I could include but I dont know where to start. Here's some fire pics! Featuring a pic of my new favorite animal, Gordito the chinchilla.

Can't wait for conference this weekend! How cool is it that we get to listen to a prophet and apostles!

Good ol fashion gator

Well the last 2 weeks flew by and not a lot of new stuff happened, but here's a quick update.

The work is going good and all our homies are progressing well. It's all good in the hood.

Stuffs that happened:
-I FINALLY SAW A GATOR! We saw him in a pond and also came across a lil turtle. I've seen some dolphins every once in a while too
-BIG NEWS I can dunk a basketball again
-Elder Ahlstrom painted Jesus on his guitar
-We steezed up our apartment with a dartboard and I'm pretty sure I'm ready for the dartboard big leagues
- Elder Ahlstrom and I made a great deal where if he doesn't get up right at 6:30, he has to make me breakfast. Does this make me the best trainer in the world? Perhaps.
-A SpaceX rocket launched from Cape Canaveral (which is in our area) and we freaked out for a second because we thought it was an earthquake and/or the second coming.
-One of my favorite family's (the Gonyeas) from the ward moved. I got a pic with their gnarly swords. Also inherited some of Bro Gonyeas old army clothes.
-We took some 'family pics' of our trio and they turned out as good as you could expect

Love yal
